Located in 125 acres of picturesque Devon countryside, The Mole Resort (previously Highbullen Hotel), is the perfect getaway for fabulous stays and active days. Ideal for a romantic break or a fun-filled family holiday, our 58 dog-friendly, eco-conscious lodges are designed for total relaxation.

From hot tubs with breath-taking views allowing you to reconnect with nature, to jam-packed days filled with over 40 activities, and a number of restaurants and bars offering locally sourced produce.

Two, three and four bedroom lodges are available to book for your holiday. An accessible lodge is also available complete with wet room and hot tub hoist.

The Mole Resort can be approached from all points of the compass and your Sat Nav will not necessarily bring you the best route.

To avoid the most steep hill and narrow roads please follow the routes below: From the East and South Molton: Leave South Molton on the B3227 signed to Torrington. After 3.8 miles turn off left at Four White Gates signed to Warkleigh 2.5 miles .

At the next cross roads, Hilltown Cross, turn right signed to Warkleigh and Chittlehamholt . After 200M take next right signed to Warkleigh Church. At the next cross roads, Swing Gate Cross, turn left towards Chittlehamholt and drive straight through the village and The Mole Resort is found on the left.(7.5 miles total) From the West and Torrington: Follow the B3227 from Umberleigh towards South Molton and turn right 2 miles from Umberleigh at Homedown Cross, signed 4 miles to Chittlehamholt.

Drive straight through the village and The Mole Resort is found on the left. From the South and Exeter: Follow the A377 and turn right to South Molton at Fortescue Cross onto the B3226.

Follow this road for 1.5 miles and take the first turning left to Chittlehamholt. The Mole Resort is on the right just after the Chittlehamholt village sign.
