This is Constable country, legendary artist John Constable was born here and painted many of his famous works, the medieval village of Lavenham is the fictional birthplace of Harry Potter, catch a race at Newmarket racecourse, the home of horseracing. Many local microbreweries produce some fantastic beer, you can sample a pint in Britain’s smallest pub located in Bury St Edmunds.
