Cedar Lodge Park is located just a few miles from the market town of Tavistock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the River Tavy, you can find quite a few pubs, restaurants, bistros for a bite to eat and a nice selection of local shops, theatre, cinema, as well as a leisure pool. You also have many choices for walking and cycling, a day trip to Plymouth is also definitely worth it. Some other attractions in the area include game fishing, several national Trust properties, about one hour away you can visit Torbay, sandy beaches along the Devon and North Cornwall coast, the Eden Project and more.
