Yes, selected lodges welcome dogs, and there are plenty of scenic walks straight from the park.
There’s no onsite restaurant, but nearby villages offer a good choice of dog-friendly pubs and cafés.

Coniston village is just a short drive away, with watersports, lake cruises and walking routes including the Old Man of Coniston.
You’re also within easy reach of Windermere, Grasmere and classic Lake District scenery, perfect for walking, cycling or simply enjoying the views.
If you’re after a quiet Lake District escape with hot tubs and nature all around you, Crake Valley makes it easy to switch off.
From the North Leave the M6 at Junction 40 taking the A66 Keswick road. Then follow either the A592 Ullswater and Kirkstone Pass road or the B5322 and A591 Thirlmere and Grasmere route to Ambleside. Then take the A593 to Coniston and Torver. Turn left at Torver on to the A5084, where the park is on the right at 3 miles. From the South Leave the M6 at Junction 36 taking the Kendal road for three and a half miles. Turn left on to the A590 Barrow road and continue for 16 miles to Greenodd. Turn right onto the A5092 Workington road and within 2 miles fork right onto the A5084 for Coniston, the driveway for the park is at 3 miles on the left
