Caban Nant Ddu countryside lodge is an ideal getaway place, cosy, with a nice private outside garden area with hot tub, views across the fields which you are welcome to walk amongst to the many local footpaths nearby. Rhayader is just four miles away, where you can find several tea rooms, pub and restaurants, variety of shops and a leisure centre with a large swimming pool. Elan Valley is a main attraction nearby, the impressive Victorian Dams are quite a sight, lakes and reservoirs also. Slightly further, about one hour’s drive away, visit the Shropshire Hills AONB with quaint towns and villages all set in the superb countryside.
