The Old Cowshed is a two-bedroom lodge in Porchfield on the Isle of Wight, set within a smallholding. Sleeping four, it offers a peaceful base for exploring the island while staying close to the coast.

Comfortable Lodge

The open-plan lodge has a Smart TV, woodburner and well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee machine and washer dryer. Two bathrooms make it practical for families or friends, while underfloor heating keeps things comfortable throughout the year. Outside, a private hot tub, decked areas, garden furniture and barbecue provide space to relax. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels, a welcome pack, travel cot and highchair are included. Two pets stay free, and private parking is available for two cars.

Explore the Isle of Wight

Thorness Bay beach is around a mile away, with Cowes Seafront also nearby. Walking and cycling are easy, with the Round the Island cycle route and coastal path close to the lodge. Carisbrooke Castle, Blackgang Chine, Tapnell Farm, Alum Bay and the Needles offer further days out, while Shanklin and Godshill are worth visiting.
