Perched on the edge of Bassenthwaite Lake at the foot of Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lakeside Lodges give you a luxury escape in one of England’s most cherished landscapes. The lodges nestle among woodland and water, offering a mix of peace, luxury and nature.
You’ll find lodges equipped with private outdoor hot tubs, timber decks with barbecue areas, modern kitchens and open-plan living spaces. Many are dog-friendly, allowing your pet to come along and enjoy the adventure too. The setting also encourages outdoor activity: walk directly into surrounding woods, spot wildlife such as ospreys and red squirrels or sail and fish on the lake (permits apply).
Just a short drive from Keswick you’ll have access to local cafés, craft shops, lakeside theatre and climbing routes. Return each evening to your deck, take in the reflections on the water and settle into true Lake District serenity.
