With underfloor heating, mood lighting, a Bluetooth sound system, TV, and DVD player, our Armadillas provide all the comforts of home in a tranquil, natural setting.

Each pod is thoughtfully equipped with an internal loo and shower, a small kitchen area, and ample storage, including a wardrobe and mirror. It’s like a cosy mini-home, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Please note that bedding is not provided as standard, but can be booked for an additional cost. For those looking to add a touch of luxury to their stay, a log-fired hot tub is also available to book at an extra charge, offering a delightful way to relax under the stars.

Located in the charming village of St Osyth, just west of Clacton, you’ll find everything you need within reach, including local shops, two pubs, and a fantastic fish and chip shop. The village itself is steeped in history, with around 115 buildings listed as historic or of special architectural interest, including the ancient Priory. For those who love the outdoors, there are beautiful walking and cycling opportunities around the farm and village, as well as fishing at our off-site reservoir (available by arrangement) and superb birdwatching at nearby nature reserves.

St Osyth serves as an excellent base for exploring the stunning Essex and Suffolk coastlines, countryside, and nearby tourist attractions. A quick drive or bus ride will take you to Colchester, England’s oldest recorded town, where you can explore Colchester Castle, enjoy a picnic in the park, or visit the renowned Colchester Zoo. For a day trip, the Suffolk Heritage Coastline, with charming towns like Southwold and Aldeburgh, is just a short drive away.
