Boavista at Jackdaw Quarry Cumbria is a luxury solar powered lodge cottage located near Carnforth, Lancaster and Kirby Lonsdale plus just 20 minutes from the Lake District, Fylde Coast and the Yorkshire Dales. The property offers views of the Lakeland Fells, and over Morecambe bay. There is the local village of Over Kellet, good for afternoon tea and a visit to the pub, the nearby Heritage Centre, and lovely canal walks into Carnforth and Tewitfield. Also worth a visit in the area is the 14th century Warton Old Rectory and the picturesque St Oswald's Church. Other activities include Diving in the Quarry, fishing and a few golf courses close by, at Capernwray you can enjoy the swimming pool and leisure centre facilities.
