These lodges are all located on Pastures park, set in over 25 acres of woodlands in the open countryside, a footpath from the park gives you access to several walks. The picturesque local village is Allithwaite that has a local pub with food, shop and Post Office, also, just about a mile away is Cartmel, known for being the prettiest in the Lake District with its many streamside walks, cobbled streets, antique shops, the ancient Priory, tea rooms, pubs and top Michelin Star-awarded L'Enclume restaurant. Two miles away is the seaside resort of Grange-over-Sands, enjoy the car-free promenade, gardens, golf courses and other typical seaside town attractions. Be sure to visit Lake Windermere, in the stunning Lake District National Park just fifteen minutes away.
