Enter another world and escape to the Lakeside Retreat at Tallington where you will unwind as you enjoy beautiful rural and lakeside views at this new and very well equipped lodge.

Once you have re-charged, hop in the car for a short drive to treat yourself at one of the many quality pubs and restaurants nearby. Fancy a bit of sightseeing? How about historic Stamford, home to many beautiful buildings including Burghley House! Even the Norfolk coastline is accessible for a day at the seaside!

The Lakeside Retreat at Tallington is pretty unique. It’s sited at the top of the biggest lake at Tallington Lakes, which offers land and water activities for all ages, including an open air heated pool! The secure wraparound verandah and spacious decking offer stunning views to the front and the back of the property - and you can even get really close to the beautiful clear water thanks to our private jetty!

Not only that, we offer an enclosed garden too, as we welcome your furry friends. In fact it’s rather luxurious for them, as we provide an outdoor warm shower, shampoo, towels, squishy dog beds, bowls, treats, toys …even collars with the address on, and spare leads!  If you have more than 3 dogs, the owner of this lodge will consider having more to stay, just send them a message to ask..!

A striking feature of this stunning lodge, is the outdoor room that we have created on the decking. It’s just perfect for sunning yourself during the day on the quality furniture, watching the lake through our full width glass panels. Then, at night, open up the overhead canopy, draw the curtains, and watch the stars until you fall asleep. Bliss.

Let me tell you a little about the lodge, which is designed for all year round living. It has a fully equipped kitchen, and sleeps four in 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 5 foot bed and a bathroom en-suite, and the second bedroom can be a twin or double. This room has a tv, and the second shower room is across the corridor. The kitchen has a seats 4 table, microwave, toaster, kettle, oven, grill and washing machine. The lounge has a fabulous chaise longue facing out towards the lake, and the L shaped long sofa is perfectly suited for some lazy TV viewing.

Feeling a little hot? Just switch in the air con! Feeling a little cold? Air con works for that too, but we also have central heating and electric blankets, and plenty of comfy throws.
