These Finnish timber lodges are located nearby Hartland Forest park and have access to coarse fishing on site, just a couple of miles from Woolsery which has a convenience shop, Bideford and Bude are about thirteen miles away and both offer many attractions, shops and eateries. There are plenty of long walks to take along the rivers and lakes and at nearby Penstowe Manor, a bar and restaurant plus some leisure activities including indoor and outdoor heated pools, Jacuzzi, sauna, tennis courts, squash court, and games room for a special admission fee. Plan a trip to some of the local beaches at Sandymouth Bay and Bucks Mill, if you have a surfer in the group, there is a very popular surfing beaches at Westward Ho.

For some on site fishing, you have free use of two lakes stocked with carp, rudd, bream and tench.
