Whitby is close to the harbour, beach, shops and historic sights. The 199 Steps and Whitby Abbey are popular places to visit, while Whitby Museum offers a look at the town’s history. Sandsend Beach is around 2.1 miles away, with Whitby Beach around 2.3 miles from the park. Pickering is about 19 miles away and provides access to the North York Moors Railway.
