Captain Cook’s Haven

Captain Cook’s Haven is located beside the banks of the River Esk and just a mile from towards the popular seaside resort of Whitby. An ideal base to discover what this area has to offer from nearby fishing villages, the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway, Robin Hoods Bay and further afield Flamingoland Theme Park, the historic city of York, Castle Howard and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Onsite you can enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool and the children’s playground for all the younger family members. Cook’s Log Cabins were added in 2018, fully equipped with your own lawn, decking area with BBQ.
