The Shire

The Shire is a cosy shepherds hut in the Ceredigion countryside and a short drive from the coastline of Cardigan Bay, a family run eco-friendly choice for a romantic break. There a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, you can leave your dishes in the shower room for washing by the host, a bathroom with a toilet and hot shower is located in the main house, shared between two properties, a wood burner keeps it cosy and warm. Enjoy the sights and sounds sitting outside, of the small river flowing nearby, the hut is very near the quaint village of Penuwch, a popular gastro pub is also just a short walk.    

The popular seaside town of Aberaeron is less than 10 miles away with many eateries, attractions, small harbour and many beaches. Take a long walk on the Cambrian Mountains, Snowdonia National Park is also a great day trip about an hour’s drive away.
