South Downs setting
South Downs Lodge is a one-bedroom lodge in Soberton, sleeping two guests in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Set in the Meon Valley, it offers a base for walking, cycling, horse riding and enjoying the Hampshire countryside.
Comfortable lodge
The open-plan living space combines a sitting area, dining area and kitchen with an oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The kingsize bedroom has Egyptian cotton bedding and an en-suite walk-in shower. Bifold doors open onto a gravelled seating area with views across the adjoining paddocks. Wi-Fi, central heating, private parking for two cars and a bike store are provided.
Explore the Meon Valley
A gentle walk through the meadows leads towards the River Meon and the village of Droxford nearby, while The White Lion pub is less than a mile away. The area is ideal for countryside walks and cycling, with the South Downs Way nearby. For a change of pace, explore historic Winchester, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Gunwharf Quays or Marwell Zoo, all within easy reach by car.
