The Owl is a bespoke luxury lodge in Sneaton, within the North York Moors National Park. Set among ancient woodland, it sleeps two guests and offers a peaceful base close to Falling Foss and the Yorkshire coast.

Inside the lodge

The Owl has a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating, rainfall shower and a round stone bath on the balcony. There is a kitchenette with a two-ring induction hob, kettle, coffee machine and toaster. Guests also have air conditioning, a gas fire with a wood-burner effect, Smart TV with Netflix, Bluetooth sound system and Starlink Wi-Fi. Outside, the lodge features hammock netting, a fire pit and BBQ.

Explore the area

Falling Foss waterfall is a few hundred metres away, with woodland walks nearby. Whitby is a short drive, offering Whitby Abbey and beaches. Robin Hood’s Bay and Sandsend are around five miles away, while the North York Moors provides opportunities for walking. E-bike hire is available onsite, while sauna and cold plunge hire is offered at the separate Wellness Hub for a fee.
