Take the A1 to Newcastle, then the A69 past Hexham. Turn onto the A6079 for Acomb/Chollerford and follow signs to Kielder Water & Forest. Pass the dam and Tower Knowe Information Centre. Calvert Kielder is 3.5 miles further on the left.
From the West / South of Scotland:
Leave the M6 at Junction 44 (Carlisle) and follow the A7 via Longtown and Canonbie, following signs to Kielder. Continue past Kielder Village. Calvert Kielder is 5 miles further on the right. (Approx. 1 hour from Carlisle.)
