Holly Lodge is a spacious wooden lodge near Forden and Montgomery, with views towards Corndon Hill. Sleeping up to eight guests across four bedrooms and three bathrooms, it suits families or groups travelling together. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor, including a king-size room with an en-suite shower. The fourth bedroom is a first-floor king-size.

Comfort and facilities

The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area is ideal for meals and relaxing, with a separate first-floor sitting room featuring a woodburning stove. Guests also have WiFi, three TVs, a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside, the enclosed garden includes a patio, barbecue, garden furniture and private hot tub, with ample off-road parking. Holly Lodge is pet-friendly.

Things to do nearby

The Offa's Dyke Path is close by, making the area well suited to walking. Montgomery, around 2.9 miles away, has shops, pubs, restaurants and the remains of Montgomery Castle. Welshpool is nearby for Powis Castle and Powysland Museum, while the Shropshire Hills offer further walking and countryside adventures. The lodge provides a comfortable base for exploring Mid Wales and the Welsh border region.
