Location

From the South Nunland is easy to find!. From the M6/A74 near Gretna, turn left onto the A75, signed Dumfries and Stranraer, (the road bypasses Dumfries).
Still on the A75, approx. 3miles beyond (west of) Dumfries the road becomes dual carriageway for just over 1mile.
At the end of this dual carriageway there is a small roundabout signed Lochfoot to the left. There are also brown tourist signs for Nunland. Follow these, turning left and then immediately left again.

From the North On approaching Dumfries from the north (people often turn off the M74 at Lockerbie) , turn right onto the A75, which bypasses Dumfries to the north, signed to Stranraer.
Still on the A75, approx. 3miles beyond (west of) Dumfries the road becomes dual carriageway for just over 1mile.
At the end of this dual carriageway there is a small roundabout signed Lochfoot to the left.
There are also brown tourist signs for Nunland. Follow these, turning left and then immediately left again.
