Pochard Lodge

Our beautiful Scandinavian timber lodge is situated on the shores of Lake Pochard, which has excellent carp fishing - perfect for the keen fisherman and fisherwoman!  The lodge has recently been refurbished and upgraded to a deluxe lodge.

The lodge comprises of:

• 3 bedrooms (master double with ensuite, twin, and adult bunk beds)
• family bathroom
• a veranda with views over Lake Pochard
• open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area
• fully equipped with TV and free fibre optic broadband, hob, oven and microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and a large gas BBQ
• furnished to a high standard
• linen, towels, electricity, and heating are included in the hire cost
• suitable for wheelchair access
• excellent carp fishing
• restaurant onsite
• up to 2 dogs welcome

The location of Pochard lake is great for well-behaved dogs with wonderful paths to follow including the Thames footpath, Thames and Severn way cycle route 45 from Salisbury to Chester. Explore the Cotswolds from your lakeside lodge at Lake Pochard in the heart of the Cotswolds Water Park. The site is 25 acres with only 15 lodges giving spacious plots and great views across the lake.

The Cotswolds is one of the country’s most beautiful landscapes with nearly 800 square miles of superb scenery covering parts of 6 counties including Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire. The Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty is world-famous for its pretty honey-coloured towns and villages, rolling hills and breath-taking views.

Pochard Lake is an 11.5-acre Specimen Lake for the exclusive use of residents and owners staying in the Lake Pochard holiday lodges. The lake is well stocked with both Mirror and Common Carp, some in excess of 30lb and at least 10 over 35lb. 2020 Fishing charges – There is a one-off charge of £10 (£15 for 2021) per angler to fish Pochard Lake and the Green Lane of the match lake (Walters Lake). This is payable on check-in.

On-site there is the Waterside Kitchen and Bar an independent eatery serving meals over looking Walters Lake, the purpose-built match lake.
